Deze standaard definieert de eisen voor Chain of Custody certificering voor bos- en boomproducten - de voorwaarden waaraan een bedrijf moet voldoen om PEFC gecertificeerd te worden. Tijdens het certificeringsproces beoordeelt de certificeringsinstantie het bedrijf aan de hand van de in dit document vastgestelde eisen. Als het bedrijf aan de eisen voldoet, ontvangt het een PEFC Chain of Custody-certificaat.
